Talya earned her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business, Entrepreneurship & Organizations from Brown University, where she graduated magna cum laude. Her academic background in business informs her analytical, organized, and solutions-driven approach to legal problem-solving.

Prior to joining Markey Law Partners, Talya served as a certified Rule 3:03 prosecutor with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, where she represented the Commonwealth in criminal proceedings and gained substantial courtroom experience handling arraignments, hearings, and motions.

Talya’s passion for the law began at an early age while watching her mother represent clients in court and achieve meaningful, positive outcomes on their behalf. That experience inspired her to pursue a legal career focused on advocacy, preparation, and results. Fluent in both English and Portuguese, Talya approaches each case with professionalism, care, and a strong commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients.
